NEQOS and NEMHDU join together to develop an improvement hub for mental health services.
The North East Quality Observatory Service (NEQOS) are proud to announce that the North of England Mental Health Development Unit (NEMHDU) and NEQOS have agreed to work together to develop an ‘improvement hub’ for mental health services.
Both organisations share common values which include improving outcomes for service users and carers; objective rigour and independence; high project standards; and an ethical and open approach to our work.
This new arrangement will give clients access to the very best high level analytical skills and clinical epidemiological expertise from NEQOS alongside expert knowledge in mental health services, systems and wider strategic leadership from NEMHDU.
Using the concept of an ‘Improvement Hub’ clients will be able to discuss and arrange bespoke projects with flexible leadership and management arrangements across the organisations.
Dave Belshaw, NEMHDU Chief Executive, said: “We are delighted to be working in partnership with NEQOS and I believe this offers a unique opportunity for the mental health community to be truly innovative. The ability to access and understand high quality data and metrics, alongside the ability to interpret that into meaningful service change and improvement, provides a new and exciting way to look at the way we deliver mental health services.
