Kate joins us from DHSC, and has worked in child and maternal health intelligence and health improvement in PHE. She has also worked in analytical roles in a PCT and in a local authority. She’s recently completed a Masters in Public Health at Newcastle University.
Her main focus so far has been developing data sources, indicators and analyses to inform national and local work on child and maternal health, with a recent opportunity to lead the work on Covid19 vaccine safety in pregnancy in England. She’s also been recently seconded to the Family Nurse Partnership National Unit in DHSC, providing data and evidence to support the delivery of sensitive and responsive caregiving to infants.
